Hope you are doing good and thanks for your help in covering up 2016 and 2017 Yoga World Festival. This year Yoga world Festival, World Yoga Conference, Jury Examinations, Yoga Championship, Dance, Kalari, Taichi & Guinness World Record commences from 22nd August to 26th August 2018 and is organized by Yuvaa Yoga Manthiram Trust in association with Tamilnadu Tourism Department, Tamilnadu Sports University and other leading Yoga Institutions.
The Trust headed by Dr. Yuva Dayalan is striving hard for keeping yoga as a daily routine in every human beings life to ensure good health and sound mind for making better individuals in the world.
To achieve the goal, yoga practitioners from more than 20 countries across the globe are travelling towards Tamilnadu to attend this yoga festival. We are also inviting Educational Institutions, Universities, yoga organizations, fitness centers and students to be a part of the upcoming Third Yoga World festival, World Yoga Conference, Yoga Championships, Dance, Kalari, Taichi and Guinness world record to enhance and gain knowledge about different lineage of yoga & Indian Arts from Authentic Yogacharyas travelling across the globe to teach in this festival.
We have arranged special free yoga sessions with International yoga masters for school children on daily basis, residential yoga course and training to yoga teachers, yoga practitioners and also mindful learning techniques for school & university students that would help in their academics. Yoga Masters / Yoga practitioners / Martial Artists / Students will also have the opportunity to meet and interact with global yoga community (Teachers / Students) travelling from all over the world towards Tamilnadu to learn and absorb the Heritage value based Yogic Education and Culture of Thirumoolar and the South.
We hope this meaningful and Tamilnadu's iconic charity yoga event in the birth place of yoga can be covered by your esteemed organization to create awareness and spread the word about Upcoming Yoga World Festival, World Yoga Conference, Yoga Championship, Dance, Kalari, Jury Exams & Guinness World record at Mahabalipuram and Chennai.
We are expecting 750 plus yoga practitioners or yoga lovers across the globe with 2000 plus floating crowd from various schools and colleges across the country to participate in the Yoga Retreat and 5000 plus participants for the Guinness world record event in Elliot’s beach, Besant Nagar, Chennai.
This year’s event will be facilitated and graced by Ministers, Government Officials and other dignitaries in various occasions.
The event will be live streamed in YouTube across the globe and will be covered by all print media & Television channels across the globe.
Our Yoga World Festival was inaugurated by Tourism Commissioner, Thiru. Palani Kumar and other dignitaries on 28th September successfully and the festival completed on 2nd October in Mahabalipuram and Chennai with the Yoga world championships attracted more than 1000 participants. We also made second Guinness world record for “most number of people doing shoulder stand simultaneously” by 2nd October 2017 in Besant Nagar Beach with 1680 participants across the globe in the presence of Honorable Tourism Minister Mr. Vellamandi Natrajan, Honorable Minister of Sports & Youth affairs Mr.P.Balakrishna Reddy, Ex.M.L.A. Mr.J.C.D.Prabakaran, Freedom Fighters’ Family members and other dignitaries.
This event was dedicated to freedom fighters. In this historic Yogic event, we also honored freedom fighters’ family members on the stage by the ministers.
The event was live streamed in YouTube across the globe and was covered by all print media & television channels.
2016 Yoga World Festival & Guinness World Record attracted 300 residential Foreign and Indian practitioners with 1000 plus floating participants across the country. More than 50 revered saints and Yogacharyas taught 110 classes. Scholar paper presentations also took place during the five days of festival at Mahabalipuram and Chennai.
Honorable Minister of Tourism Mr. Vellamandi Natrajan, M.L.A.Kodandapani, M.L.A. Arumugam, Tourism Commissioner Mr. Harsh Shay Meena with other dignitaries like Pullela Gopichand, Maestro Sivamani, Actor Ajay Rathinam, Vice Chancellors Dr.A.M.Moorthy and Dr. Baskaran were the Chief guests and Guests of honors for various programs in Yoga World Festival & Guinness World Record last year.
We also achieved a Guinness world record for "most number of people doing head stand simultaneously " which had participants from over 20 countries and was widely covered by all the leading news papers and Media from India and abroad.
