Dr.Vaithianathan

Dr.Vaithianathan, Most senior and respected personality in the field of sports and yoga contributed his whole life to the development of sports and yoga in India ,especially Tamilnadu has produced International athletes and Asian gold medalist & record holders namely A.rajan, R.Anand Natrajan,J.Jayakumar with 40 other national medalist for last 35 years has lectured around the globe & India for the upliftment of sports and yoga in early 1960’s till date who is also Research advisor for more than 100 scholars till date.

He has served as a Vice Chancellor of Tamil Nadu Sports University, Tamilnadu Education commission Departments,Academic Standing committees, Academic Council,Member of AIU sports board,University grant commission, UGC-SAP Advisory committee,Convener,construction of physical Education norms for various standards of Tamilnadu High school,organizer of Inter-university, State,national level championship workshops and seminars across Tamilnadu,India ,also created Syllabus for Bachelor and master Degree.

He has introduced various various new programs for the upliftment of sports and yoga in UGC department like P.G.Diplomain sports management,Exercise Therapy,yoga,,M.sc yoga,Mphil in Physical Education etc.
