Yogi. Dr. T.A. Krishnan is the most prominent Yoga guru and natural diet practitioner in India. He was born on 8th January 1946
at Thiruchendur, a seashore village in southern part of Tamil Nadu. He started learning yoga from very young age under direct
training from yoga stalwarts like SUTHANANDHA BHARATHI and B.K.S. IYENGAR.
He has been practicing yoga for more than six decades and as a Naturopathy Therapist, he has cured 1000s of people. Yogi Dr.
Krishnan got countless awards from various governmental organizations and some of them are, “Yoga Ratna” by Late Mr. Zail Singh,
the former President of India, “Doctor of Yoga” by the Tamil Nadu Nature Cure Association and “Doctor of Yoga Therapy” by the Open
International University for complementary Medicines, Colombo.
Currently he is a visiting Lecturer for MADRAS UNIVERSITY, TAMILNADU PHYSICAL EDUCTION AND SPORTS UNIVERSITY, ANNA UNIVERSITY
and SRM ENGINEERING COLLEGE in the fields of yoga and naturopathy. He is the founder of Thirumoolar Yoga & Natural Diet Trust at
Chennai, Tamil Nadu and rendering services to the humanity.
He has trained hundreds of yoga teachers and is the most sought after yoga expert in all international yoga events for developing
series of asanas on his own based on the teachings and preachings of Thirumoolar and other Siddhars.
Professional Qualifications
Obtained training in YOGA at Sundara Yogasana Payirchi Salai, Palayamkottai,
Thirunelveli - 627 002. Tamil Nadu, India for Twelve years from 6.4.1968 to 6.4.1981.
Completed “Registered Siddha Practitioner” at Pondicherry State Siddha Medical
Practitioner Association (Under I.M.C.C. Act - 1970, Govt. of India.)
Completed one year international Yoga Teacher’s course conducted by Swami
Gitandanda, Adhyatma Yoga Sadhana Sanga Vishwa Yoga Samaj Anandha Ashram, Pondicherry, India on 24th July 1981.
Completed one year Yoga training under the direct supervision of Shri Dhirendra
Brahmachari, Aparna Ashram, New Delhi, India.
Completed the Master’s course of the World Community Service Centre, Chennai,
Tamilnadu, conducted by Yogiraj Vethatri Maharishi, on December 1988.
Completed certificate course on “Saiva Siddantha” conducted by the
Thiruvavaduthurai Aatheenam on May 1988.
Member of the “Tamil Nadu Yogasana Sangam” registered under the Tamil Nadu
Societies Act - 1989.
Completed “Diploma in Naturopathy” (N.D.) (4 Year Course) at Alternative
Medicine & Naturopathy Research Foundation, Chennai.
